About Patricia W. Hermogenes, MD
Family medicine has been ingrained in me: my father practiced and my siblings practice now. Taking care of our health is a family affair. Each family member takes care of the other. Getting to know a patient means getting to know the family. That is what makes family medicine so special. I become a part of the team dealing with the entire family.
Gearing towards personalized healthcare makes family medicine fulfilling. I am excited to affiliate with MDVIP and improve my practice so I will have more time with each patient to develop an individualized care plan.
I practice in a community whose population is just as enthusiastic as I am about different kinds of healthcare. People are more conscious about their health and are looking for a physician who can talk with them one-on-one, but they may also seek one that will work for their family. I have been practicing in Queens, New York for 26 years and have grown to learn what matters most to my patients.

Dr. Patricia Hermogenes is so wonderful, kind, patient and have great knowledge. She gets us and always there for us. I been thinking why people make complaints about payment?? Before she was trying to take care every patient but was not enough because the insurances don’t pay properly and that’s why she changed for MDVIP, even I need to pay more, she is the best and I been so secure to know the I have the best dr ever. The staff sometimes gets tired to answer stupid questions, all day long. Every time I call, always i got a excellent answers, that’s why I recommend Dr Hermogenes, the payment is worth it. Plus she help me to loose 89 lb in 5 months. Thanks Dr. Hermogenes and the staff, they are very nice too.

I have been going to doctor Patricia Hermongenes for over 20 something years. She is the best doctor I absolutely love her she is extremely patient knowledgeable She has amazing bedside manners she listens to your concerns she never rushes she takes her time with you, and you feel like family when you go to her and her Staff. I've been going to Dr. Hermogenes for many years. What I appreciate most is the time she takes with each of her patients. I know I am going to get a thorough examination while she is gathering information on all aspects of my life that can impact my health. She really listens to all my concerns, and I never feel rushed or that I'm taking too much time. She also shares her own experiences as it relates to a particular issue I may have so we can relate on a more personal level.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hermogenes since 1996, and she has become a family member. I appreciate her compassion and care towards me, and the respect and the timely manner she gives to each person she sees. I can only wish everyone could have a physician that is this accessible and attentive to their care and needs. Dr Hermogenes has been my family for over 3 decades. She took care of my daughter and me. My husband has always been reluctant to go to the doctor. Last year, he accompanied me to Dr. Hermogenes' office for the first time. He waited while I had my yearly check up and consultation with Dr. Hermogenes. When I was finished and was saying good bye to Dr. Hermogenes and the receptionist my husband suddenly asked if would be possible for him to schedule an appointment with Dr. Hermogenes.
I was stunned. My husband explained after he observed the time that Dr. Hermogenes spent with me and the easy manner in which we got along he wanted to have her as his physician also. Two days later, my husband walked out of Dr. Hermogenes' office bragging to everyone about his visit to HIS doctor.
He stated that the examination was thorough, and it was easy to talk with Dr Hermogenes. He said that she is a good listener and seems to care about him the person. Dr. Homegenes is a dedicated physician who cares for the whole person.

Dr. Hermogenes is by far the best Dr. I have ever been to. I have had many different doctors when ever my work changes insurance however I keep on going back to her and paying cash for her care even tho she didn't take my insurance. Now that she is with MDVIP I jumped at the opportunity to be her patient. She is personable, kind and makes me feel very comfortable when seeing her. I will never have another physician. She is the Best!

Dr Hermogenes is a one in a million Physcian. She is very knowledgeable, intuitive, and skilled. She listens, asks questions and explains well treatment and/or medication options. In my experience she has been spot on in her diagnosis. Her staff is helpful and courteous.

Five Stars! Patricia W. Hermogenes, MD is the BEST! She is thorough, compassionate and spends as much time as patient needs to discuss physical and mental well being. Dr. H. is part of MD-VIP program. My last check-up took 2 hours. Covered everything! Absolutely would recommend her to anyone looking for a great doctor! I have been going to her between 15-20 years.

You won’t find anybody more caring and thorough than Dr. Hermogenes. Very old school when it comes to spending time with patients as she will give as much time as needed to get to the bottom of whatever is ailing you. Granted the wait can be long but it’s just because she’s giving the other patients as much time and attention as she will give you.

I love doctor Hermogenes an her awesome staff. I feel like a family member is taking care of me when am there. I was referred by a coworker who knew I was looking for a new doctor for almost a year an then some!! An wanted a female doctor no offense to male docs. Doctor Hermogenes is patient, listens an doesn’t rush you out of her office because she has others waiting. I have to be honest I’ve never had to wait more than an hour to see her an that’s important to me. Even though am a horrible patient sometimes she’s still there for me. Thanks Doc your the best

The main staff is a horrible one, I spoke with Karen the office manager, she was unprofessional and rude, the receptionist gave me her name to speak to her in regards to a matter. This convo took place. Karen: hi who is this? Me: Juan Ramirez, good afternoon Karen. Karen: first of all, how do you know my name, what do you want and why are you talking to me? Me; Excuse me? My name is Juan Ramirez and I need to find out something. This is a disgusting way to act moreover a professional place. AVOID THIS PLACE. There are more friendlier MD office in or around the area.

The wait is long when your appointment is during the late afternoon but it's all worth it! She's very thorough and gives all the care you need. I am in a medical field and I know a good doctor when I see one. Not all of them truly cares and advocates for their patients!

Yes many people say her wait time is long which is true. But she is without a doubt the best, caring doctor I have been to. She takes her time with you, which is why the wait time overlaps. She isn't one of those Doctors that tells you what you have and sends you on your way. You can ask her anything and she will give you an answer. She has always made me feel better and when my condition has worsen, she always finds a way to make whatever I am feeling go away in a matter of a day. There is no other doctor like Dr. Patricia. My entire family goes to her and we rely on her professionalism.

I have seen Dr Hermogenes for over 9 years. She has always been my family doctor but it's sad that I have to leave a 1 star review. Her office manager (I think her relative?) is incompetent, rude, and unprofessional. She coughs openly when sick without covering her mouth--and then has the nerve to yell at you if you politely ask her to cover up! The wait time is *ALWAYS* 2-4 hours, and once when I (in a fit of frustration) asked the manager how much longer the doctor would be, considering I have been waiting 2 and a half hours, she snarkily replied "Two hours isn't a long wait; stop being a baby." The accounts manager had to come over discreetly and apologize to me on behalf of the unprofessionalism. The doctor herself is a good doctor with excellent bedside manners but it's just not worth it to spend 2, 4, 6, even 8 hours waiting for a visit that takes 20 mins (all because the office manager is incapable of scheduling correctly).
