"Wherever the art of Medicine is loved, there is also a love of Humanity."
-Hippocrates
"It is far more important to know what person the disease has than what disease the person has."
-Hippocrates
My practice philosophy is simple; I treat my patients as though you are my family members, and therefore, want the very best for you. I take the time to know who you are; I care about how you feel, how you want to be treated, how you live, and how life has affected you. I cherish having the privilege of being your personal physician, to safeguard and protect your health through major life milestones, each with new goals and challenges. I help you lead a healthy life by focusing on wellness and prevention now, and taking steps to minimize the risk of developing diseases later. I also respect your preferences. I try to explain complicated medical conditions and procedures using language that you and your family will understand. I keep you informed about the various treatment options, and help make a personalized care plan for yourself.
The most satisfying part of my profession is the long-term patient relationships that develop over the years, based on mutual trust and respect. I am fortunate to have worked and trained with some of the best physicians. They have inspired me with their knowledge, kindness, compassion, humility, as well as true dedication to service. In my MDVIP-affiliated practice I will emulate them daily as I try to do now. I keep up-to-date with the latest in medical research and guidelines as the field of medicine is dynamic and continually improving, to be able to give you comprehensive healthcare of the highest quality. I also offer conveniences, like same- or next-day appointments that start on time, which may be found in concierge medicine practices.
I consider myself blessed to live in my adopted hometown of Louisville since 1999. I grew up in India and speak Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu in addition to fluent English. I love being a doctor and feel truly humbled that people trust me to care for them.
