My own directive as your personal doctor is to partner with you to help improve your understanding of your health, improve your quality of life and/or function and decrease your dependence on medication when possible. It is my goal to keep patients out of the hospital and to minimize emergency room and urgent care visits through proactive, individualized care. As your advocate, I can consult with insurance companies, recommend specific tests and screenings and liaise with your specialists. I am affiliated with William Beaumont Hospital – Troy Campus and can support your care and release in the event of hospitalization. I also make home visits on a case-by-case basis.
I strongly believe the more developed your understanding of your health, the better equipped you are to live the healthy, active life you deserve. And for the individuals who have a busy life working, same-day or next-day appointments and the ability to contact me after hours can minimize your time away from work and, in some cases, may help expedite your recovery.
