I have been a primary care physician in Dallas, Texas, for more than three decades and have cared for the Oaklawn, Uptown and Park Cities communities. My wonderful staff, Jeanette, Irma and Bertha, some of whom have been with me for over 25 years, are the heart of my practice. As a team, we strive to provide more personalized and friendly care, with a touch of humor, founded on empathy, compassion, listening and communication, while implementing the latest wellness tools.
I am fluent in Spanish, as are some members of my staff. I believe this creates an important bridge to providing care for the Hispanic/Latino community. I have personally enjoyed helping those affected by HIV since the beginning of the 1980s. My practice has welcomed the LGBTQ+ community for all these years, and I continue to offer all my patients the compassionate care I believe they deserve.
When I was a young boy living in rural West Texas, I had the opportunity to watch my uncle care for the locals. Watching my uncle and my aunt, as his nurse, working side-by-side treating people, supporting their health and seeing their love of medicine and people sparked my desire to become a doctor. Being known as a friendly, caring, hometown doctor, just like my uncle was, has been my goal since I opened my practice. And my affiliation with MDVIP helps me work toward achieving that goal.
My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, which go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. I also offer conveniences like same- or next-day appointments with minimal waiting.
As an MDVIP-affiliated physician, I can offer you individualized care and more time together with a greater focus on prevention while listening to your concerns and addressing your questions. As your personal doctor, I can practice medicine the way I have always aspired and help you as you pursue a healthier, more active life that I believe you deserve. One of the biggest gifts in life for me is watching my patients set goals to thrive and prosper.
My staff and I look forward to welcoming you to our practice. My team and I want to care for you just as my uncle cared for his.
