Gregory J. Cuozzo, MD

My unique approach to providing your primary healthcare comes from many influences. I was fortunate to train at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, one of the top 10 medical centers in the country. I worked alongside my father, Dr. Joseph Cuozzo, one of the most respected internists in Ocean County, New Jersey. This education, combined with my 15 years of experience as an internal medicine physician, has equipped me to handle the most medically complex patients. I am equally capable of helping healthy patients stay well through nutrition, fitness and preventive screenings. 

Mutual respect and trust create the kind of communication and personal relationship between doctor and patient that fosters the healing process and prevents complications through early diagnosis. I am an excellent listener, which is critical to helping identify illness and treating patients quickly and accurately. My personalized approach, gives me the time and tools to encourage, support, diagnose and treat you. My MDVIP-affiliated practice, often compared to a concierge medicine practice, also offers conveniences like same- or next-day appointments. 

My patients hail from all over New Jersey, including Toms River, Manchester, Whiting, Lavallette, Bricktown, Bayville and beyond. I am the Regional Medical Director at Care Alternatives Hospice, and I am on staff at Community Medical Center.
