I met Dr. Bonnie Levin at a Christmas Eve party. I had a cold & she heard me cough. Before leaving, she asked me to take a deep breath which produced a deep cough & wheezing. She offered suggestions to help me feel better. This from a person/doctor I had just met. Her suggestions helped get me through the holidays until I could contact my current doctor. When I did reach him, I couldn't get an appointment for a couple of days. Since I had been considering finding a new doctor for a while, I called Dr. Levin's office & got an appointment for that day. She treated my symptoms & I loved the way she treated ME. She immediately became my new doctor. She was available to me by text or phone, any time I needed her. I trusted her care & loved her way of relating to & treating her patients. Two years ago I had a procedure done by another physician which left me with severe pain through no fault of that doctor. Tests showed nothing but Dr. Levin didn't give up. She ordered one more test..a full body x-ray..which provided the answer. The diagnosis was cancer--Multiple Myeloma. She immediately put me in touch with my now oncologist & I began treatment which is going well, due to an early diagnosis & treatment. I attribute this to the care & concern of Dr. Bonnie Levin. No question is too small or unimportant & I can reach out to her at any time. This is the way she conducts her medical practice & her love of medicine. I am so glad I met her at that Christmas Eve party! And one last little point to show how she cares...when I met her, I was introduced to her by my niece. And to this day she calls me Aunt. A small thing maybe to others but to me it means a lot! It shows her caring, loving side to her patients. I have never had a doctor before who treats me as a person, not just another patient. Dr. Bonnie Levin is the best, most caring doctor I have ever had. And I will continue to be her patient as long as I can!
