As your personal internal medicine doctor, I don't just want my patients to survive; I want them to thrive and flourish. I want my patients to have energy, vitality and longevity. To achieve this, I want my patients to get personalized healthcare where attention is individualized to meet each person’s needs and emphasis is on prevention and wellness. In my MDVIP-affiliated practice, I will be able to spend more time with each patient, get to know his or her detailed family history, perform comprehensive wellness exams and tests; and then together with the patient, I will be able to formulate a wellness and exercise plan that will allow each patient to better achieve his or her life to its fullest potential – thriving, not just surviving. I want to provide this service to my patients in a comfortable, caring and nurturing environment. Similar to conveniences often associated with concierge medicine practices, I also offer same- or next-day appointments that start on time.
As a practicing internist in the Sugar Land area for the past 20 years, I have developed key relationships with many specialists in the area. I will be able to direct you to the right specialist when you need one, may it be a cardiologist, surgeon or an ophthalmologist. I work with hospitalists at Methodist Sugar Land Hospital, Memorial Sugar Land Hospital and St Luke's Sugar Land Hospital. My areas of interest include heart and vascular disease, women's health, nutrition, obesity, sleep disorders, type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and other chronic illnesses such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and dementia. My patients come to see me from the greater Houston area, Wharton, Fresno, Missouri City, Richmond, Rosenberg and of course Sugar Land. In addition to English, I am also fluent in Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu and Spanish. I look forward to helping improve each of my patients' lives by working with them individually to improve their mental and physical health, while also providing them with a life that is full of vitality and longevity.
