Weiss Brothers Practicing Old-School Medicine Packaged a Different Way

Not many people intentionally add three hours of time to the experience of seeing their primary care physician. But that is exactly what Tina McMechen did.

Memphis physicians Dr. Martin Weiss and his brother, Dr. William Weiss, are affiliated with the personalized health care program called MDVIP, which was established in 2000 in Boca Raton, Florida. “I drive an hour and half each way to see Dr. Marty,” said McMechen, who now lives in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

When she says “Dr. Marty,” she means Dr. Martin Weiss, who shares an office in East Memphis with his brother, Dr. William Weiss.
