Wagging Tails and Walking Trails

Furry friends and good health collided at Dr. Wesley’s Walk with the Doc and Dog event last month. Hosted in beautiful Monterey, California, Dr. Wesley invited her patients and their four-legged friends to join her on a heart-pumping, health-boosting weekend walk. Part of an ongoing series, the Walk with Doc and Dog event is a fantastic venue to connect with Dr. Wesley and other patients to forge strong, health-focused community ties. “I appreciate my doctor getting me out here to walk,” commented a participant, who was part of a group of fifty patients, “what a great event!” Owners and dogs alike enjoyed themselves and took home some great souvenirs.

Kudos to Dr. Wesley for dreaming up such a creative event- not only did her patients get active, they were able to enjoy the added bonus of a proven natural stress reliever- spending time with animals. As part of a lasting commitment to enriching lives through inventive and community-building events and initiatives; our physicians always have something new on deck to connect with their patients beyond the office.
