My goal is to be there for my patients when they need me. If they need to be seen in the clinic quickly, I will be there. If they are in the hospital, the nursing home or need me at their home, I will be there. I want to get back to the “old school” way of being a doctor, where the doctor is there on the other end of the phone when you need them. I want to be with my patients at every step of their life, and help them live longer, healthier lives.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

Dr. QUARLES Is the best! If he needs to refer you, which is not often, he does not hesitate. He has a great rapport with medical staff and gets things done quickly. He listens! He Cares!
The Drs. and others even know his name and him at other facilities where I have been. He arranged setup for ultrasound st FRMC on leg where I've had problems. Thankfully, there was no clot so referred me to Dr. Smoot at UK, another who knows him as they schooled and studied various fields of medicine together. Such a tribute to this caring, compassionate man cannot be fully expressed in words. My husband and I love this home-grown doc!! He is easily accessible and quickly responds which is vital in our care. Your personal staff are wonderful, too. You bring a warm and welcome presence especially when you are at our side while hospitalized.

JOHN: I have been hospitalized recently with mild heart attack, and he has been here twice a day and constantly in touch with his peers concerning my issues. He is so easily accessible and responsive, too. I was readmitted because of several factors, and being well-cared by Dr. Quarles and others who are an integral part of his recovery . Thank you!

No matter what time or what day of the week it is, we always have access to Dr. Quarles in any emergency. The entire office staff, Rita and Leslie, are professional and very inviting. Both Leslie and Rita exude a warmth that make patients know they are cared for on a level unlike any other I have experienced. Dr, Quarles office is a very calming environment. (That is not always what is expected during a visit to a medical appointment.) This experience with MDVIP has exceeded our expectations in every aspect. My husband and I were talking tonight about how our membership fee is the best gift we have ever given ourselves. Words seem to fail me when I try to explain what an amazing experience MDVIP and Dr. Quarles have provided. This is a great medical solution to consider for any person changing medical services for any reason. The annual physicals always provide a plan of action to improve our health. I have been going to Dr. Quarles for years. As a runner, I tend to incur injuries from time to time. Dr. Quarles has always been available to discuss the injury, treat it, and help me quickly get back to my active lifestyle. The detailed level of care he provides carries through even when I have an illness. I started going to Dr Quarles in 2004 and I would never want another doctor except him.He has seen me through some difficult times in my life and always there to listen. I am fortunate to be able to spend my winter months in Ft. Myers, Florida. At various times I have minor medical issues that have required attention. Dr. Quarles has always been available to forward a prescription or get a local referral for me. I am extremely grateful for his caring attitude and prompt attention to my needs.
