Saturday 03/02/2024 After lunch my Wife I thought was having a seizure. She was breathing and conscious but not fully alert. I called 911. Ambulance took her to the local hospital. I texted DR Longs after hour mobile phone and communicated to her what was going on. She keep me calm and made herself available to the ER if they needed her. We kept in contact through the weekend. When I moved from IL to SC I needed a doctor. I am a nurse so I am fussy. I thought I would be changing doctors until I found the best one. I'm sure God lead me to Dr Lesle Long. I have been with her for fifteen years. Yes she is the BEST.

If I could give this experience zero stars I would. I have searched for months for a doctor that I thought would be good for my needs and thought I had found it in Dr. Long. I completed the new patient questionnaire, didn't get a response for several days until I got the following from the apparent secretary who, over email, is incredibly unfriendly and short with her replies..."Dr. Long reviewed your questionnaire and she would like for you to try Dr. Vejnar or Dr. Spruce because they are a functional medicine practice. Thank you." That's it. That's all I got. No info for these other doctors. No have a nice day. No sorry we can't help you. And zero attempt at actually talking to me before making this determination and recommendation. I will definitely be finding someone else.

Dr. Long is the primary care physician for my 90 year old mother. We cannot possibly express how grateful we are for her competent and compassionate care. Dr Long is a very good listener - one of the most important virtues in a care-giver. She makes decisions based upon the whole picture of the patient's health and needs. She is also a good communicator and is careful to make sure we understand the reasoning behind her plan of care. The office staff are friendly and reliable. My mom actually enjoys her office visits. Dr. Leslie Long is very professional yet makes her office comfortable and warm. She and her entire staff are friendly, sincere, knowledgeable and welcoming. There is nothing intimidating about your visits. Dr Long addresses your concerns and issues that arise from your testing to make sure she is preventing as many diseases and other complications from arising. I love being her patient.

So many success stories. reduced dosage of medicine and better results. Difficult Covid prescriptions in less than 2 hours at the unique pharmacies in town that actually have the Meds. Referrals to other medical experts. Excellent, proactive, tailored suggestions. Truly blessed to have Dr. Long, Kim, and her staff. First, complete physicals in years. Help in managing medical costs with prescriptions, and that is just a start.

I have seen Dr. Long for over 15 years. My medical conditions are complicated and everything is reviewed and followed up. Just this year I had the flu even though I had taken the flu shot. I had to visit the local ER due to a very high temp. Dr. Long called me to see how I was doing and help me with the flu effects I was still having. She is a diamond.

Dr. Long has saved life more than in the 15 plus years I have been her patient. She has always been truthful. With my health issues I totally trust whatever she says and have never considered changing doctor's. I'm lucky that I have her as my doctor.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
